Our Green Office

Here are some of the ways our business makes a difference by practicing what we preach!

  • We sell a variety of products to help homes become greener. Our products are all locally manufactured to miminise travel kms.
  • Our office is completely green. We do this by doing the following:
    • We print on 100% post consumer stock for everything (this is heaps better than normal 100% recycled stock which includes wood chips etc as opposed to post consumer which is true recycled stock), with vegetable and soy inks
    • All the stationary in our office is green where possible. Ie recycled paper, envelopes, green manila folders and files, even 100% recycled plastic in trays
    • We ventilate our office naturally 90% of the time rather than use airconditioning/heating
    • We use local suppliers for our business wherever possible. For example, our stationary is all purchased through a local family run business rather than OfficeWorks
    • Our team recycles approx 70% of our waste
    • Where possible, we get our bills online instead of mailed
    • We minimize printing within the office, and any leftover printing is recycled into small bound note books for reuse
    • We purchase 100% green electricity
    • Our work cars fill up on Ethanol 10 premium fuel, hopefully burning cleaner
    • We use a local organic health food store for our breakfast meetings and any office catering
    • Our fridge is stocked with organic wine and green beers, and we have a big bowl of organic apples from the farmers markets which our staff eat as snacks and we replenish weekly
  • Our business attended Greenfest recently, where we handed out 1000 native seedlings to potential customers to plant at their homes
  • At our recent launch party, we used the local organic shop for vegetarian organic catering and we supplied organic wines and green beers to our attendees, and we handed out 30 native seedlings
  • We recently donated 200 native seedlings to Morningside State School to plant in their school grounds and hand out to prep students
